Loose brackets and wires
A bracket that has come off, a wire that jabs your cheek or a broken retainer is a reason to call us. We tell you what to do and when to come in.
For a problem that is not life-threatening, call the office. We try to see people the same day when we can. We can't promise it, and we tell you honestly when the next opening is. If you can't breathe or swallow, call 911.

What to do first
- 01
Step 1: Call us
Tell us what has happened. We say what to do until you are seen.
- 02
Step 2: Keep the piece
Keep a loose bracket, band or broken retainer and bring it with you.
